Standing Teeth Brushing Tickling

Myah has come a long way in the last month. She crawls faster. She pulls herself up onto anything and everything and stands there quite comfortably - often times now holding on with only one arm. She has even begun cruising a bit around the couch. In large part, she is a very serious baby and always busy working on something. She's not your happy-go-lucky baby, but quite analytical and just plain serious. It's sometimes a bit of work to get her to smile, but when she does, she lights up the room. Of course, tickling always gets a smile and she always smiles when she's standing because, I think, she's just so proud of her new talent.

I'm teaching her to brush the abundance of teeth that have all of a sudden decided to come in. It started with her two top canine's coming in. She looked like a cute little baby vampire for about a week and a half. Then, all of a sudden, in come the middle two. It's caused her mouth to hurt a bit in the last weeks, so that's been a little tough. She takes the Children's Tylenol ok, but absolutely HATES the Baby Oragel. It takes two of us to put it on her and she gets so mad at us....until about 30 seconds later when she realizes that her teeth no longer hurt.

Check out the standing and the teeth and the brushing and the tickling below (actually in that order...). One picture is half covered by my thumb, but that one really shows how the teeth have just barely come through the gums and are definately not full size yet.

  1. Didn't I JUST see you guys...how has she changed so much already? I love that little smile with her new teeth, and I can't believe she's STANDING!
